Bailey, Robert R. of Braintree, passed away April 17, 2011. Beloved husband of 52 years to Frances (Morgan) Bailey of Braintree. Devoted father of Susan Bailey of Weymouth, Lynn Bailey of Stoughton and Robert R. Bailey, Jr. of Braintree. Cherished Grandpa of Jennifer DeLory of Brooklyn, Stephanie DeLory of Medford, Mark DeLory of Weymouth, Chase Bailey of Braintree and Cole Bailey of Braintree. Loving brother of Jack Bailey of NH, Barbara Cullen of Weymouth, Arthur Bailey of ME and the late Edward Powers, Virginia Cattaneo and Pamela Bailey. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Bob grew up in Boston and later lived in Brockton before moving to Braintree in 1972. He proudly served in the United States Marine Corp. during the Korean War. He worked as a welder for General Electric for 25 years before retiring in 1984. He enjoyed fishing, reading and watching the Patriots and Boston Red Sox. His family describes him as a loving family man with a great sense of humor. He will be sadly missed. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Wednesday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Funeral service will be celebrated on Thursday at 11 AM in the Keohane Funeral Home. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree. In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Robert may be made to American Heart Association, 20 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701.
