Robert P. Reney

Reney, Robert P., age 83 of Quincy, died December 12, 2010. Beloved husband of the late Alice M. (Roche) Reney. Devoted father of Catherine of Norwood, Thomas, (MSP) and wife Laurie of Duxbury, Robert, (QFD) of Quincy, and John and wife Kathleen of Duxbury. Loving brother of John Reney of Braintree, Sr. Barbara Reney (CSJ) of Brighton and the late Catherine and Margaret. Cherished “Grampy” of Michael, Meaghan, Robert and Julianne. Robert graduated from Boston Trade High School. He was a WWII veteran US Army. Robert retired as the Chief Traffic Signal Inspector for the City of Boston in 1991. He was the Past Commander of the John P. McKeon Post in Dorchester and a member of the Robert I. Nickerson Post in Squantum. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Wednesday 3-7 p.m. at the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home, Thursday at 9:15 a.m. prior to the Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, Thursday at 10 A.M. Burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery.
