McNamara, Robert P. of Hull, died March 23, 2016.
The beloved husband of Ida Fagone-McNamara of Hull and the late Elinor K. (Welsh) McNamara. Loving father of Ann McNamara and her husband Walter Keenan of South Boston, Patricia Spitz her husband Kurt and children Katie and Bobby of Hull, Robin Mannion, her husband Andrew and sons Mark and Devon of Dedham. Stepfather of Annette Agostino, her husband Vincent and her children Matthew, Jaclyn, Rachel, Leigh and Paige, and great grandson Domenic, and Lisa Fagone, her husband Robert Hatch and her children Brittany, Brandon and Megan, all of Hull. Brother of Joseph “Billy” McNamara and his wife Margie of Hull and the late George McNamara and his late wife, Betty.
A life long resident of Hull, he was the owner and operator of Neal’s service station in Hull. Robert enjoyed following New England sports teams and he and Ida hosted many a Super Bowl party for their friends at Ocean Place. Robert was a member of the Hull Knights of Columbus. The foundation of his life was his family, they were the cornerstone of all that was truly important to him. He will be sadly missed by all those who knew him.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Monday 4-8 PM in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Tuesday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Parish in St. Ann’s Church, Hull at 10 AM.
Burial in Hull Village Cemetery, Hull.
Donations in memory of Robert may be made to Hull Knights of Columbus, 440 Nantasket Avenue, Hull, MA 02045.
