Holland, Robert P. of Quincy, formerly of Dorchester & Charlestown, July 17, 2006. Beloved husband of Carol A. (Bissett) Holland. Loving father of Robert P., Jr. of Newport, RI, Christopher P. of Dorchester and Patrick T. of Hull. Brother of Arthur of Tucson, AZ, Eileen Holmes of NM, Richard of Dorchester, John of NM and Ronald of East Boston. Also survived by 4 grandchildren. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., WOLLASTON, Friday at 8 AM. Funeral Mass in Saint John’s Church, Quincy at 9 AM. Visiting hours Thursday 4-8 PM. Burial in MA National Cemetery, Bourne Friday at 1 PM. Mr. Holland worked as a chef for many restaurants on the South Shore. He also consulted in menu design for many restaurants including the Spring House, Louie’s in Hough’s Neck and the Fowler House in Quincy. He was a longtime member of the Wednesday at 7 Singing Group comprised of friends he knew from growing up in Charlestown. During the Vietnam conflict, he proudly served in the U.S. Army.
