Robert P. Henriksen

Henriksen, Robert P. “Henny” of Braintree, died December 17, 2023. Bob was born in Boston to the late Rita and Howard Henriksen. He had an accomplished and dedicated career as a Lineman, beginning at Boston Edison in 1964. He continued his career at Braintree Electric Light Department, first as a Lineman, then as the General Foreman of the Overhead Line Department. He retired in 2001 after 31 years of service. He was passionate about utility safety and worked for several years after retirement as a Safety Trainer with Northeast Public Power Association (NEPPA).       

Beloved husband of 51 years to the late Annamaria (Iacobucci) Henriksen. Devoted father of Dina Pelley of Weymouth, Lori Gallery and her husband Shawn of Weymouth, Robert M. Henriksen and his wife Cheryl of Rockland. Father-in-law of Stephen Pelley of Weymouth. Loving brother of the late James Henriksen. Cherished Grandpa of Samantha, Ryan, Matthew, Brooke and Jack.

Bob was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend, whose life was defined by his dedication to his family, his career as a lineman and his passion for golf. He brightened our lives with his infectious smile, kind words, and a joke for every occasion. His love and commitment will forever remain in our hearts. May he rest in peace. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Friday, January 5th, 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rt.18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9AM on Saturday, January 6, prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Clare’s Church, Braintree at 10 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Bob may be made to: The NEPPA Benevolent Fund  or Boston Higashi School.
