Barker, Robert P. of Weymouth, died May 3, 2014 at the age of 81.

Bob was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was the owner and operator of Quincy Typewriter in Quincy Center for many years. An antique car enthusiast, Bob was a lifetime member of South Shore Antique Auto Club. He will be remembered for his great sense of humor and generosity in helping others.

He was the beloved husband of Marilyn C. (Mullins) Barker. Loving father of Michael Barker of Raynham and Gerald Barker of Weymouth. Brother of Richard Barker of CA, Edward Barker of Boston, Mary Goodell of Braintree, Ann Finn of Bridgewater and the late Louis Barker and Rose Collier. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Friday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Saturday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Albert the Great Church, Weymouth at 10 AM. Burial at a later date.
