Robert Mckenna

McKenna, Robert of Weymouth, passed away unexpectedly on February 15, 2024 at the age of 61. Robert was born in Boston to the late John and Helen McKenna. He was raised in Dorchester and attended Boston Technical High School. Robert worked for over 40 years at MIT where he met the love of his life, Nicole. Spending time with his family were the greatest moments for Robert. Whether it be traveling, attending concerts, pizza and dancing at Amvets or family parties he was always happy to be surrounded by friends and family. Being outside in the garden and going for walks with his pups Baxter and Benny were also things that brought him happiness.

Beloved husband of 29 years to Nicole McKenna of Weymouth. Proud and Loving father of Robert McKenna Jr. and Christopher M. McKenna, both of Weymouth. Dear brother of Linda A. Bradford McCann of Weymouth, John J. McKenna and his wife Carol of Braintree, Michelle H. Mullaly and her husband Daniel of Dorchester and Catherine C. MacIsaac and her husband Wayne of Weymouth. Also survived by many nieces, nephews,  grand nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Wednesday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 8:45 AM on Thursday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Albert the Great Church, Weymouth at 10 AM.
