Robert Macdonald

Robert “Red” MacDonald of North Weymouth, formerly of Roxbury and Dorchester, died May 17, 2017. Robert was a hardworking man who loved spending time with his grandchildren. He will be remembered for his devotion in taking care of his wife during her illness. 

Beloved husband of the late Catherine (Brancaccio) MacDonald. Devoted father of Catherine McDonnell and her husband John of the North End and Steven MacDonald and his wife Maureen of Weymouth. Cherished grandfather of 5 grandchildren. Loving brother of Margaret Hewitt and the late John MacDonald, Dorothy Sanders, Norma Fredrickson and Frances Letcher. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visitation on Saturday at 9 AM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home NORTH WEYMOUTH at 40 Sea Street (off Route 3A – Bicknell Square).

Funeral service will follow in the funeral home at 10:30 AM.

Burial in Fairmount Cemetery, Weymouth.

In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Robert may be made to the Dorchester Youth Collaborative, 1514 Dorchester Avenue #A, Dorchester, MA 02122.
