Robert M. Kennedy

Kennedy, Robert M. of Hull, passed away on March 14, 2023.

Robert was born October 2nd, 1937 to parents Joseph and Esther Gardner Kennedy, and grew up in Roxbury, MA. He proudly served with the United States Army as a paratrooper and spent time in Germany during the war. Robert will be remembered as a hard worker and family man, always willing to go out of his way to help his friends and family in need. In his free time, Robert enjoyed painting, tending to his garden, and caring for his beloved dog, Jake. He is finally reunited with the love of his life, Hazel. To quote his good friend: “Robert gave so much more than he got. No other words needed.”

Beloved husband of the late Hazel (Johnson) Kennedy. Loving father of Karen Silvia and her husband Michael of Marshfield, Kim DeRuosi of Salem, and the late Richard and Kevin (Johnson) Kennedy. Cherished grandfather of Ashley Roth and her husband George of Plymouth, Dr. Vanessa Silvia and her partner Kirby Nichols of North Carolina, Brittany DeRuosi and her partner Steve Coleman of Douglas, and Matthew, Michael, and Robert DeRuosi and great grandfather of Paityn Rose. Predeceased by two brothers and three sisters. Survived by many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday at Hull Village Cemetery at 12 PM.
