Robert M. Fuller, Jr “Bob” born on Feb 4, 1966 passed June 16, 2020 peacefully surrounded by his loving family after a long battle with cancer.
Bob grew up in Weymouth. He had a larger than life personality that left a lasting impression on everyone he met and lifted the spirits of those lucky enough to be in his presence.
Bob was a true NE sports fan rooting for the Patriots well before their super bowl streak with his season tickets since 1989. Watching Bob watch a game whether it be at home with his family or at the Next Page with his many friends was entertaining in itself; he brought so much passion to just being a fan.
Bob was a great father not only to his daughters but also a second father to their many friends. Whether it was a game of hide and go seek where you’d find him up in the trees or playing Wii, he would have to dress the part depending on what game they were playing, sharing many laughs with the girls. Bob was often found listening to Aerosmith wearing his daughters pink beats and playing his air guitar.
He worked for Clean Harbors as a truck driver and Sunrise Erectors as a union carpenter. Bob fought for 9 long years with Laurie by his side every step of the way. He fought to the very end without ever complaining.
Beloved husband of 27 years to Laurie (Crandell) Fuller of Weymouth. Loving father to Kelsey and Karley Fuller of Weymouth. Cherished son to Margaret Eck of New York and Robert Fuller Sr. and his wife Ann of Oregon. Loving brother of Laureen “Laurie” Barchey and her husband Bill of Weymouth, Michael Fuller of Weymouth, Jessica and Joshua Fuller of Oregon. Devoted uncle of Cory, Tyler, Brendan, Christian, Amanda and Sara. Loving son in law of Fran Player and her husband John of Weymouth. Predeceased in death by his loving grandparents Margaret & Frank Gaughran and Madeline and John Miller. Also survived by many dear friends, especially Mark “Guido” O’Brien and Billy Norton. They were by his side taking on a caregiver roll that was above and beyond.
Loving nephew to Diane and Bob Palardy of Marshfield. Bob spent many summers with his cousins Pam, David and Dennis along with his siblings creating many cherished memories in Brantrock.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Saturday 2-6 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). For the safety of our guests, we ask that all visitors wear masks and return directly to their cars after greeting Bob’s family. Burial services will be at a later date.
