Robert L. Walker
Walker, Robert L. “Bob” of Rockland, passed away after a long illness on September 13, 2022. Bob was born in Illinois to the late Teresa and Joseph Walker. Beloved husband of 66 years Marie A. (Zizza) Walker of Rockland. Loving father of Robin (Walker) Donovan and her husband George of Abington and Kimberly Jarred and her husband William. Dear brother of Joseph Walker of Utah. Cherished Papa to William Jarred Jr, Christian Jarred, Jordan Leigh Tame and Eric Fardig. He was also a Great Papa to 4 great grandchildren. He was also a good friend to many throughout the years.
He grew up in Chelsea and graduated from Chelsea High School. Bob was a business owner of The Video Den in Middleboro for 10 years. He also worked for Sealtest Foods for over 25 years as a Key Account Manager. Bob enjoyed golf, playing cards and also following sports. He also enjoyed traveling, and boating. He was also a movie buff.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Tuesday 8:30 AM – 10:15 AM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). A celebration of life service will be held in the funeral home at 10:15 AM in the funeral home on Tuesday, prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Bridget’s Church, Abington at 11 AM. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in memory of Bob to The American Heart Association, 7272 Greenville Ave, Dallas, TX 75231.
