Robert L. Tierney

Tierney, Robert L. of Rockland, formerly of Quincy October 22, 2005. Beloved husband of Annette M. (McManus) Tierney of Rockland. Devoted father of Robert J. and his wife Lisa Tierney of Norwell. Brother of James F. Tierney of Cape Cod. Loving grandfather of Kevin, Ryan, and Shawn Tierney of Norwell. Mr. Tiernery was born in Boston and graduated from Dorchester High School. Robert and his wife Annette lived in Quincy for 24 years before moving to Rockland. He was an avid hockey and baseball fan. Robert was a former Quincy Youth Hockey coach and took pride in attending all of his sons hockey games. He later enjoyed watching his three grandsons play hockey, never missing a game. Mr. Tierney was a retired Boston Police Officer and a member of the Boston Police Patrolman Assocation. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home 785 Hancock St. WOLLASTON Tuesday at 9AM. Funeral Mass in Saint Ann’s Church, Wollaston at 10 AM. Visiting hours Monday 4-8 PM. Burial in Mt. Wollaston Cemetery, Quincy.
