Robert L. Segalla Sr.

Segalla, Robert L., Sr. of Weymouth, passed away March 26, 2017.

Robert grew up in Dorchester, later moving to Braintree and retiring in Weymouth. Robert was the Deputy Chief of the Auxiliary Police in Braintree for many years and later retired as the Treasurer at Learning Prep in Newton. Robert volunteered for Meals on Wheels and belonged to the Blue Knights Mass 1 out of Brockton. Robert was happiest when spending time with his family and taking rides on his motorcycle.

Beloved husband of Olga M. (Golisano) Segalla of Weymouth. Loving father of Robert L. Segalla, Jr of Weymouth, Donna Scagnelli of North Carolina, William J. Segalla of Halifax, Michael F. Segalla of Whitman and John P. Segalla of Hawaii. Son of the late Phillip and Elizabeth (Sullivan) Segalla. Cherished brother of Phillip and John. Treasured Papa of Joshua, Matthew, Crystal, Lorenzo, also Great Papa to Jaslyne and Kahliel. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Tuesday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 8:30 AM on Wednesday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Francis Xavier Church, Weymouth at 9:30 AM. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
