Quintiliani, Robert L. of Foxboro, retired Q.P.D, February 9, 2007. Beloved husband for 44 years of Anne M. (LeBlanc) Quintiliani. Loving father of Susan and her husband Stephen Nasson of Wrentham, Sheila and her husband Paul Stringfellow of Foxboro, Stacey and her husband Todd Stringfellow of Wrentham and Sherrin and her husband Christopher Gallagher of Foxboro. Cherished brother of Elizabeth “Betty” Bodine of Tampa, FL and Joan Zaiger of Needham. Brother- in- law of Eileen Trainor of Bakersfield, CA. Devoted grandfather of Stephanie, Sydney and Samantha Nasson of Wrentham, Jennifer, Robert, Ryan & Kyle Stringfelllow of Foxboro, Tyler & Cameron Stringfellow of Wrentham, Abigail & Ava Gallagher of Foxboro. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., WOLLASTON, Tuesday at 10 AM. Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, N. Quincy at 11:00 AM. Visiting hours Sunday 7- 9 PM and Monday 4- 8 PM. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree. To Bob, his life was a complete success. He married his high school sweetheart, Anne M. (LeBlanc) and they were married for 44 years. He built his own home and then he and Anne raised their four girls. He was a retired Sergeant of the Quincy Police Department, a career he loved. At one point Mr. Quintiliani was the Quincy Police Hostage Negotiator assisting in a special case in Boston. He also received the American Legion Medal of Valor Award. Bob was the Director of Operations for Quincy Fire Extinguisher Service Inc. It was a business started by his father-in-law. He joined it on a part-time basis in 1980. The family business grew over the years with help from his wife Anne. After his family and career there was one other thing that Bob was passionate about, his Recreational Vehicle. He began with his first motor home in 1998 and traveled extensively throughout the United States. They were able to spend Christmas as a family in Disney World in 2005, a place they visited many times. Bob spent many years attending his girl’s activities. In one instance he was presented an award by the instructor for attending 21 consecutive years of his daughter’s dance recitals! Mr. Quintiliani loved to cook and enjoyed the cooking shows on television. He played hockey and skated with the Executive Hockey League. He was known as “Mr. Fix It” and loved getting lost in the Home Depot. The Quintiliani’s were very active in Sacred Heart Parish, North Quincy. They volunteered as Eucharistic Ministers and taught Pre-Cana for 12 years. He loved life and his country and served as a United States Marine. Robert was a 1957 graduate of North Quincy High School and graduated from Suffolk University. His family will miss him dearly and describes him as the love of their lives, amazing, a legend and the most wonderful husband and father.
