Robert L. “Bob” Boretti

Boretti, Robert L. “Bob” of Hingham, died June 26, 2016.

Bob grew up in Roxbury and was a graduate of Boston Technical High School. He was dedicated to his lifelong career as a Printer and was the proud owner of the family business, Barrett Printing Company. As an avid outdoorsman he was passionate about hunting and fishing.  He also loved camping and skiing with his family and friends. Later in life he enjoyed travelling, golfing, socializing with long-time friends and playing in a poker league with his wife. He was a loyal Patriots and Red Sox fan who never missed a game. His fun loving personality, gentle smile, gift of song and sense of humor will be greatly missed. 

Beloved husband of 55 years to Judy A. (Della Barba) Boretti of Hingham. Son of the late Renaldo and Catherine Boretti. Cherished father of Lynne Rinaldi and her husband Samuele of Scarborough ME, Laurie Hanlon and her husband Mark of Castle Rock, CO, Lesley Melling and her husband Kenneth of Watertown, MA, Robert Boretti Jr. and his wife Christine of Holly Springs, NC and David Boretti and his wife Dawn of Salem, NH. Devoted Papa of 13 grandchildren. Loving brother of Joan Auld and Beverly Kreger both of Sarasota, FL. Predeceased by siblings; Mary Boretti, Dorothy Downey, Renald Boretti and Catherine Bowker. Bob is survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Tuesday 4-8 PM in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM. A funeral mass will be held in the Church of the Resurrection, Hingham at 10 AM on Wednesday. Burial will be private at a later date.
