Robert J. Hennelly

Hennelly, Robert J. of Braintree, died on December 07, 2009. Robert was born in Boston and lived in Quincy for many years before residing in Braintree. He proudly served in the United States Marine Corp from 1956-1959, achieving the rank of Master Sergeant. Bob worked as a plumber with the Plumber’s Union Local 12 in Boston for 30 years, retiring in 2001. He enjoyed fishing, going for walks and spending time with his grandchildren. Former husband of Maureen Tippett of Weymouth. Devoted father of Bobby Hennelly and his wife Regina and Susan and her husband Rick Martin all of Weymouth. Loving brother of Ronald Hennelly of Hanson, Richard Hennelly of FL, Ruth Giorgi of Scituate, Patricia Jeria of FL and the late Thomas Hennelly. Cherished Grandpa of 6 grandchildren. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours Thursday 4 – 8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock Street, QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 8:45AM on Friday prior to the Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, Weymouth Landing at 9:30 AM. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
