Robert J. Foley

Foley, Robert J. of Dorchester, passed away March 11, 2012. Beloved son of the late Frederick Foley and Bridget (Fitzpatrick) Foley. Loving brother of Teresa Foley of Boston, Lucille Foley of Quincy, Frederick Foley of Mattapan, Mary Cook of Quincy, Selena Kinman of Rockland, Barbara Foley of Dorchester, and Joseph Foley of Gardner. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Robert was the kind of person who always found the best in people. He had a very diplomatic style and was most pleasant and friendly. Bob was a sports enthusiast, enjoying all the major Boston teams. He enjoyed the company of his peers and staff at Brett House, a home for mentally and physically challenged adults in Dorchester, where he has lived for many years. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Thursday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Friday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, Quincy at 10 AM. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
