Copson, Robert J., Jr. of Quincy November 5, 2005. Beloved husband of Margaret C. “Peg” (Wilcox) Copson. Devoted “Daddy” of Beth Copson & her fiance Paul Tomlinso of IA. Son of the late Laurena & Robert Copson. Loving brother of Jeanne Copson of Quincy, Catherine Rowan of Sudbury, Paul Copson of Quincy, Joseph Copson of West Roxbury, Anne Fitzgerald of Blackstone, and Maryanne Wilcox of Quincy. Close friend of Sarah, Katy & the late Louise Proto and the Leahy Family. Bob is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews & cousins. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., WOLLASTON Friday at 7:30 AM. Procession before Mass will go by Castle Island. Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, N. Quincy at 9 AM. Visiting hours Thursday 4-8 PM. Burial at a later date. Bob worked as a custodian for the Boston Public Schools for 20 years, retiring in 1992. Later he worked as a check processor for Bank of Boston. Growing up in Roslindale, he graduated from Roslindale High School in 1966 and was a trumpet player for Sacred Heart Church CYO Marching Band. He loved cars and planes and was a talented artist and painter. Castle Island in South Boston was Bob’s favorite place. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
