Robert J. Colman, Jr.

Robert J. Colman, Jr., 59, of Quincy and Edgartown passed away unexpectedly on March 23 2016.

Robert (Bob) grew up in Braintree.  He graduated from Thayer Academy and went on to New England College and Bentley University.

Beloved son of the late Robert J Colman, Sr. and Mary T. (Donovan) Colman survived by loving sister Roberta M. Colman of Braintree and Sandra Colman Lerner of Quincy.  Dear nephew of Celeste Colman of Weymouth and Pat Lyons Barry of Needham.  Bob is also survived by many loving cousins and friends.

Robert was owner and operator of the former Colman’s Sporting Goods.

Robert participated  in many sports growing up but most recently he enjoyed spending time with good friends boating and fishing. 

Robert was a proud member of the Neighborhood Club of Quincy a family tradition for decades.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Monday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 9 AM on Tuesday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Clare’s Church, Braintree at 10 AM.
