Robert J. “Bob” Smolinsky, Sr.

Smolinsky, Sr., Robert J. “Bob” of Hull, died on March 30, 2011, he was 73. The beloved husband of 52 years to Dorothy A. (Pike) Smolinsky of Hull. Devoted father of Robert J. Smolinsky,Jr. and his wife Teresa of Hull, Karen Smolinsky of Hull, Rita Dwight and her husband Michael of Pembroke and Sharon Delaney and her husband Christopher of Hull. Cherished grandfather of Rob, Sean, Jarrod, Sara, Steven and Zachary. Brother of William, Francis, Michael and Marian Smolinsky. Bob served in the United States Navy. He enjoyed golf, bowling and western movies. The true essence of his life was his family, he will be remembered as an unforgettable father who was always there for his children. Bob was a devoted husband, father and grandfather . He will be sadly missed by all those who knew him. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Sunday 2-6 PM in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Monday prior to the Funeral Mass at St. Mary’s Parish in St. Ann’s Church, Hull on Monday at 10 AM.
