Robert J. Biagini

Biagini, Robert J. of Quincy, died July 27, 2017 surrounded by his loving family.

Beloved husband of 59 years of Joan Biagini (Marini) of Quincy. Loving father of Anita Christie and her husband Van of Quincy, Debra Biagini and her partner Douglas Noonan of Plainville, Robert J. Biagini, Jr. and his wife Cynthia of Weymouth, Teresa Kelly and her husband James of Quincy, Patricia Biagini of Stoughton, Daniel Biagini and his wife Heather of Weymouth and Joseph Biagini of Quincy.  Devoted grandfather of Maria, Danielle, John, James, Alyssa, Malcolm, Brian, Sophia, Claudia, Ava, Mariposa and Soleil.  Cherished great grandfather of Josephine and Riley.  Caring brother of Diane Acorn and her husband Lorence of Quincy, Ronald Biagini and his wife Carol of Florida and the late Lorraine Woodbury.  Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Robert graduated from Quincy High School class of 1956 where he played football and Baseball.  He was an Iron worker for most of his life working as an apprentice for Bethlehem Steel and later for Dorel Steel, A boss at the Quincy Ship Yard and retired from Clean Harbors.  Robert also worked as a bar tender at the VFW in Quincy.  He was a long time member of the General Dynamics long service club.  Robert enjoyed bowling, especially for the league at Olindy’s in Quincy.  His main passion in life was his family and spending time with those he loved.  Robert will be sadly missed but never forgotten.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on  Monday 4-8 and Tuesday 3-7 in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY.  A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9 AM WEDNESDAY prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, Quincy at 10 AM. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Robert may be made to VNA Care Hospice, 199 Rosewood Drive, Suite 180, Danvers, MA 01923 or to an animal shelter of ones choice.
