Robert H. Reynolds Iii

Robert H. Reynolds, III, of The Villages, Florida, formerly of Fairhaven, Massachusetts, died peacefully on Friday, February 23, 2024, at the Aston Gardens Senior Living Community in Naples, Florida. He was 78.

Bob was born in Hamilton, Ohio on July 20, 1945, and was the son of the late Robert H. Jr. and Anna May (Brooker) Reynolds. He was raised in Ohio and attended local schools. He was a proud member of the US Army serving his country in Vietnam.

Bob continued his education at the New England Institute of Embalming and Sanitary Sciences in Kenmore Square, Boston. Bob was a licensed funeral director and embalmer, serving countless families at their time of need, throughout his twenty plus year career. He and his spouse, James A. Ferris, who died in 2020, owned and operated Fairhaven Funeral Home in Fairhaven, Massachusetts, before retiring to Florida.

Bob was a beloved uncle of twelve nieces and nephews and great-uncle to thirteen great nieces and great nephews. Bob will be missed by his many friends in Massachusetts and The Villages.

Bob’s graveside service and Army Military Honors will be celebrated on Friday, March 8, 2024, at 11 AM in Cushing Cemetery, Acushnet Road, Mattapoisett, Massachusetts. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.

Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
