Robert G. White

Robert, “Bob” G. White, lifelong resident of Weymouth passed away at his home, surrounded by loved ones, on May 18, 2018 at the age of 63.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Linda of 42 years, his daughter Jaclyn, and her husband Jason Neenan, daughter Jennifer, and her husband Charles Manning, Jr.; all of Weymouth. Bob was the Greatest Of All Time (G.O.A.T.) Papa to his eight grandchildren: Braeden, Brody, Bradley, Nolan, Lola, Ella, Christian, and Rylan. He also leaves behind his sister Nancy Carlson of Braintree, his brothers Michael White of Marshfield, Stephen White of Vermont, many nieces and nephews, and his parents, Margaret D’Arcy of Hingham and Robert White of California. Bob was also predeceased by his brother Joseph D’Arcy.

Bob graduated from Weymouth Vocational Technical High School and became a member of Carpenters Union Local 33. He was a dedicated employee at Bay State Building Specialties for many years until his retirement in 2017. He was an avid golfer at River Bend Country Club where he spent many Sundays surrounded by friends and family. If Bob was not on the golf course he could be found at the countless sporting events of his grandchildren, cheering on each one at football, baseball, basketball, hockey, and soccer games. Bob cherished his entire family, and the endless love, support, strength, and courage Bob showed throughout his life will never be forgotten.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Monday 5-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home NORTH WEYMOUTH at 40 Sea Street (off Route 3A – Bicknell Square).

Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 9:30 AM on Tuesday prior to the Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Weymouth at 10:30 AM.
