Mr. Robert F. Rodick, of South Weymouth, passed away in his home on February 11, 2021 at the age of 53 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Bob had been a lifelong resident of South Weymouth. Bob graduated from the University of Massachusetts-Boston, receiving his bachelor’s degree and had worked for many years with his father, Attorney Frank D. Rodick and in recent years for Norfolk County. One of Bob’s biggest accomplishments was being a father to his two beautiful girls, Madison and Morgan. He was always there for them through their ups and downs, he was a superhero to them and in the end he taught the girls to enjoy every moment life has to offer.
In his spare time Bob enjoyed road trips, beach days, boating and vacationing on Martha’s Vineyard with his family. He will be remembered most for his contagious laughter, loyalty to his friends and his absolute love for his wife and daughters.
Bob is survived by his wife, Talitha B. Duffey of 14 years and best friends in love for 24 years. Proud father to his two daughters Madison Virginia and Morgan Julianne Rodick of South Weymouth. Son of Virginia J.(Horsch) Rodick of South Weymouth and the late Frank D. Rodick. Brother of Thomas Rodick of Hanover, John Rodick of Hanson, Robin Egan and her husband, James of Hanover, James Rodick of Hanson, Timothy Rodick of Abington, and the late Julie Rodick. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Thursday, February 18th, from 4-7 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home South Weymouth at 809 Main Street (Rte. 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital).
Funeral service and burial will be private.
