Pisinski, Robert F. (“Bob”, “Papa”) of Hingham March 22, 2008. Beloved husband, loving father and grandfather who cared deeply for his family and friends. He is survived by his college sweetheart and wife of 40 years, Diane (Cronin); his daughter and son-in-law Heather & Robert Shanahan of Wellesley, proud “Papa” of Johnny & Robert Francis; and his son and daughter-in-law John & Dana Pisinski of Trumbull, CT. He is also survived by his brothers John Pisinski of Simsbury, CT and Victor Pisinski of Durham, NH. Loving son of the late Charlotte & John Pisinski of Worcester. An alumnus of St. John’s of Shrewsbury and graduate of Boston College class of 1965 where he received a football scholarship (“Go Eagles!”). He served as Commodore of the Hingham Yacht Club from 1998-2000. Bob’s greatest pleasure was spending time with his wife, children and adoring grandchildren. Bob was a devoted friend to many lifelong friends. He loved sailing and a good laugh. He was a true gentleman known for his huge heart, quick wit, and countless acts of kindness to so many. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM, Thursday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in Saint Paul’s Church, Hingham at 10 AM. Visiting hours Wednesday 4-8 PM. Burial in Saint Paul’s Cemetery, Hingham. In lieu of flowers, donations in Bob’s memory may be made to St. Paul’s Church, 147 North St., Hingham, MA 02043 or Dana Farber/Brigham and Women Cancer Center’s Inpatient Palliative Care Unit, 75 Francis St., Boston, MA 02115.
