Robert F. Farrell

Farrell, Robert Francis, 65, Lance Corporal, USMC, of Quincy and formerly of Hull, passed away on March 14, 2014.

Robert was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Joseph Farrell, Jr., Master Sgt. USMC, his mother, Eleanor Rosetta (Bryant ) Farrell and his brother, Richard Bryant Farrell.

He will be deeply missed by his daughter, Christine M. Farrell, her fiancé, Ronald J. Penn of South Carolina, his only granddaughter, Samantha R. Shockey, of Rockland, his brothers, Raymond Farrell of Sandwich, and John Scott Farrell of Quincy, nephews, Jason, Jeremy and Daniel and special friends, the MacKenzie Family. 

Robert was a Lance Corporal in the US Marine Corp., in the tradition of his father. He proudly served his country for four years, during the Vietnam Era. He was a very smart man and he could learn to do anything he set his mind to, making him very versatile. He worked at a few top notch hospitals as a Respiratory Therapist, specializing in the Neonatal units.  He also spent some years running his own tree removal service. Robert Enjoyed life to the fullest. His travels were numerous and took him far, often in the company of his daughter, Christine and youngest brother, John, creating memories they will never forget. He will be greatly missed! 

Robert will have a small, graveside ceremony at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne, MA on Monday, March 31, 2014 at 2:45 p.m.
