Clark, Robert F. age 86 of Braintree, was born in Boston and was a long time resident of Weymouth, Died June 20, 2013 surrounded by his loving family.

He was the son of the late Roy and Rose McClean, and brother of the late sister Rose and brother Lewis (Bill) Clark. He is survived by his beloved wife, Grace ( Sullivan ) of 65 wonderful years. Devoted and loving father to Margaret Gronberg and husband Karl of Grafton, Kevin and wife Susan of Weymouth, John and wife Susan of Duxbury.  Pre deceased by son Sergeant Robert F. Clark Jr, a purple heart  recipient, who passed in 2012. He is the cherished grandfather of11 and great grandfather of15. He is survived by many nieces and nephews.

He graduated from Weymouth High School. Bob played  football and track. Bob was the oldest member of Weymouth Troop 2 scouts and achieved rank of Eagle Scout . A devoted United States Army Veteran, Bob served his country during WWII. He was a member of the American Legion. After military service , he began to work in the supermarket industry and was  manager of the A&P for many years, He retired from Purity Supreme. Bob loved music and passed this passion onto his sons, who then started a band. He also enjoyed his vacations to Disney World with his family. Bob most of all enjoyed time with family.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Monday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home EAST WEYMOUTH at 3 Charles Street (corner of Charles & Middle Street) Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 9:30 AM Tuesday prior to the Funeral Mass in Immaculate Conception Church, Weymouth at 10:30 AM. Burial in Fairmount Cemetery, Weymouth. Donations in memory of Robert may be made to Autism Speaks, 5455 Wilshire Blvd., Suite 2250, Los Angeles, CA 90036 or to The Wounded Warrior Project at www.woundedwarrioeproject.org.
