Harvey, Robert F. “Bobby” of Weymouth died by accident on August 14, 2008. Beloved husband of Jennifer A. (White) Harvey. Devoted son of Robert F. and Susan P. (McLatchy) Harvey, Jr. of Quincy. Loving brother of Kristen and her husband Gregory Christian of Quincy, and Karen S. Harvey of Quincy. Dear grandson of John and Jeanne Hall of Billerica, Claire White-Spurgeon of Uxbridge, and Paula Mezzetti of Quincy. Cherished uncle of Thomas R., Jenna Grace, and Laynie Marie. Son-in-law of Donna White and her companion Michael Bernier, and John White. Brother-in-law of John Paul and Timothy White. Beloved owner of his pets Chloey and Manny. Brother to all Local 7 Ironworkers. Bobby is also lovingly survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends. Bobby was an avid hockey player and fan. He grew up at the Quincy Youth Hockey Arena where he played throughout his childhood and teen years. He was a dear friend to George Peachy. He played hockey for the Quincy High Presidents and was the first to score a goal at the State Championship at the Fleet Center. He was an avid Bobby Orr fan, and a season ticket holder with the Boston Bruins. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, and cooking. He loved his dogs. Bobby will be truly missed by all those who knew him. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY, Monday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in Saint John’s Church, Quincy at 10:00 AM. Visiting hours Sunday 3 – 9 PM. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Bobby Harvey may be made to Quincy Youth Hockey, 66 Murphy Memorial Drive, Quincy, MA 02169.
