Robert F. Beal

Beal, Robert F., a lifelong resident of Hingham, died August 27, 2009 at age 82. Beloved husband of 62 years to Helen (Hoye) Beal. Loving father of Robert F. Beal, Jr and wife Brenda Gerosa-Beal of Hingham, William J. Beal and wife Brenda of Orrington Maine, Diane Beal Covington and husband Hurt of Chapel Hill, NC. His son, Stephen M. Beal, predeceased him as well as his siblings Marjorie Shanahan, Ruth Healey, James Beal and Sidney Beal. Grandfather to Marisa Beal Podolski of Dedham, Matthew and Anders Beal of ME, John Beal of Hingham and Brooks and Amelia Covington of NC. Robert served in the US Navy and US Marine Corp, was a partner in Charrette Corporation until his retirement, an officer of the USCF, member of MBRC and competitive cyclist. Friends and relatives are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours Friday 4-8 PM in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), Hingham. A Funeral Mass will be held in St. Paul’s Church, 147 North St., Hingham at 10 AM Saturday. Burial will follow in St. Paul’s Cemetery.
