Robert E. Wright

Robert E. Wright of Hingham, Mass. and Hilton Head, SC died January 26, 2010, at the age of 91. Husband of the late Isabelle D. Wright and father of Robert E. Wright, Jr., Joan L. Ewing, and Martha A. Stamper and her husband Peter. He was the beloved grandfather of six and great grandfather of eight. Bob was a graduate of the Somerville class of 1936, Burdett College, and Suffolk Law School. Bob was elected the State Master Councilor of Massachusetts DeMolay of the 11th Annual State Conclave of the Order of DeMolay in Worcester of which he was very proud. Following his service in the Army Air Corps and a long career as a tanner’s agent, Bob and his beloved Isabelle retired to Hilton Head where they enjoyed golf, bridge, traveling, and especially being on the water. At his request, there will be no services. Memorial donations may be made to the Braintree Rehabilitation Hospital at 250 Pond Street, Braintree MA 02184.
