Robert C. Canepa

Canepa, Robert C. of Provincetown, formerly of Dorchester, died suddenly on May 16, 2024.

Robert loved his family and friends and it was his life’s mission to keep them well-fed and laughing. Bob, as his friends called him, was well-known for his green thumb and residents of Dorchester and Provincetown marveled at his beautiful gardens. He loved to cook and was very good at it. He entertained everyone and loved to have large gatherings with lots of laughter and love. A friend to all animals, Bob especially loved the many dogs he had over the years, and they loved him for feeding them high-end cuts of roast beef. Bob was always good for a jab at somebody else’s expense and he made everyone laugh out loud. He will be missed.

Beloved partner of Barry Murphy of Provincetown and Dad to Liam the dog.  Loving son of the late Alfred Canepa and Vincenza (Saetta).  Cherished brother of Cliff and Al Canepa.

A celebration of life memorial service will be planned at a later date.
