Robert Brady, formerly of Malden & Pocasset, MA and a Hull resident since 2001, passed away on February 18, after living courageously through a 20+ year struggle with renal cancer.

In retirement, he enjoyed being active in the Hull community serving on the Parking Committee and volunteering as a Docent at the Paragon Carousel Museum.

Brady, a life-long Patriots fan enjoyed the lore and post-game recaps. The annual brother’s jaunt to Miami to see the Patriots play against the Dolphins was a treasured ritual.
Road trips to his children’s and grandchildren’s sporting events were high on his list of favorite events.
A lover of animals, notably his dogs, Shamrock, Kelly, Murphy, Noah and his unique companion cat, Champ. He was also an avid observer of Eastern shore birds from his beloved home on the bay which he designed & built.
A prolific reader, he was rarely spotted without a book in his hand and maintained a collection of hard covers from his favorite authors.
