Robert “Bobby” O’Brien

O’Brien, Robert “Bobby” J., 65, of Weymouth, formerly of South Boston, passed suddenly on October 29.

Beloved husband of forty years of Jean (McDonough) O’Brien. Loving father of Sean and Nicole O’Brien of Rockland and Colleen and Jess O’Brien of Weymouth. Devoted grandfather of Hailey and Brynn of Rockland. Cherished brother of Barry and Ruthie O’Brien of Weymouth, Paul and Kathy O’Brien of Weymouth and Susan O’Brien of Humarock. Dear brother-in-law of Patricia and Paul Naper of Weymouth, John and Sheila McDonough of Andover and Paul and Karen McDonough of Mansfield. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews and many dear friends.

Bobby was especially proud of his service in the USMC. He loved the game of golf and summering on Cape Cod. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Sunday 2-6 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital).  Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 9 AM on Monday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Francis Xavier Church, Weymouth at 10 AM. Burial in MA National Cemetery, Bourne at 12:45.
