Robert “Bob” Stuart

Stuart, Robert “Bob” J. of Braintree, formerly of North Quincy, Dorchester and Church Point, Nova Scotia, March 26, 2009 at Alliance Health Care at Braintree. Beloved husband of Marlene (Partridge) Stuart of Braintree. Loving father of Deborah A. Mayer and her husband Carl of Brockton, Barbara J. Doyle and her husband Richard of North Quincy and Diane M. Sullivan and her husband Michael of Braintree. Son of the late Joseph and Laura (Blinn) Stuart of Church Point, Nova Scotia. Brother of Bernadette Townsend, Guss Stuart, Blanche Forrest, Arthur Stuart and Lorraine Brown all of Nova Scotia and the late Phillip, Vincent, Robert, Jacqueline, Mary, Emma, Cicile and Baby girl Stuart. Grandfather of 3 grandsons, Edward K. Chaisson, Robert D. Chaisson and Richard J. Doyle. Also lovingly survived by 3 great grandsons. Robert served his country proudly in the U. S. Navy during the Korean War. For 35 years he worked as a carpenter and was a member of Local #40. He was a member of the Braintree VFW, a former member of Kane Post in Dorchester and was active in St. Peter’s Parish in Dorchester. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Life Celebration Service in Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY,Tuesday at 9:15 AM. Funeral Mass in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 856 Washington St. Braintree at 10:30 AM. Visiting hours Monday 4- 8 PM. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery,Braintree.
