Robert (Bob) E. Pells

Quincy, MA- Robert (Bob) E Pells of Quincy, age 87 years, died February 26, 2015 at Boston Medical Center Menino Pavilion.

Born in Brockton his family later moved to Quincy where Bob would graduate and be a resident till his death. 

He joined the Navy after graduating and after had worked at General Dynamics. His last job was for Sagar Electrical Supply in Hingham now located in Middleboro  and he stayed there till his retirement. 

Bob was a charming man full of stories to tell. He enjoyed square dancing in his younger years where he was a member for many years with the Hobomock Hoedowners in Marshfield where his late brother Dick Pells would call. He loved to dance with all the ladies as he danced the night away. He also enjoyed going on cruises and to dine at many fine restaurants. He will be remembered for his great sense of humor and always wanting to make people laugh. 

Bob was predeceased by his parents, Harrison W. & Alice (Lindgren) Pells and his siblings and their spouses.  Brothers, Harrison W.L. Pells  and his wife Louise of Corpus Christi, TX &  Santa Barbara, CA, Roger W. Pells and his wife Thelma (Frenning) (Pells) Edgren of  Garden Grove, CA & Braintree,MA, Richard D. Pells and his wife Dorothy (Leonard) of Quincy, MA.  His Sisters, Myrtle (Pells) (Gustafson) Higgins of Quincy, MA ,Alice (Bliss) (Pells) (Thurston) Jackson and her husband Walter of Raynham, MA and very close niece Marlene (Bliss) Carlson of Hurley, NY.

Bob is survived by his loving nieces, Karen (Gustafson) Salvucci of West Yarmouth, MA, Carol (Pells) Thompson of Frisco, TX, Thelma (Pells) Synan of Aliso, Viejo, CA, nephew George Thurston of Vicktorville,CA and great niece Tinamarie Salvucci of Braintree, MA. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.  

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a graveside service Monday, June 8 at 12 PM at Melrose Cemetery in Brockton, MA.
