Robert Bennett

Bennett, Robert of Quincy April 8, 2008. Husband of the Jean (Fallon) Bennett of Quincy. Father of Carol Elder and her husband Ocie of Dorchester, Susan Carter and her husband Richard of Dover, NH, Robert Bennett and his wife Lori of Plymouth and Gail Bennett of Marshfield. Brother of the late John Bennett. Cousin of Sis Rossi of Hingham and Jeanne Rossi of Kennebunkport, ME. Robert is also survived by 7 grandchildren. Robert, a US Navy WWII veteran, retired from UPS several years ago. He enjoyed bowling, playing horseshoes, camping, crossword puzzles, playing the piano, western movies, following the Red Sox and the Patriots. He was an outgoing man who enjoyed throwing St. Patrick’s day celebrations. He will be missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing him. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral service in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY, Thursday at 1 PM. Visitation will be prior to the service beginning at 11:30am. Burial in Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Robert may be made to the Spinal Cord Injury, c/o West Roxbury V.A. Hospital, 1400 VFW Parkway, West Roxbury, MA 02132.
