Fernald, Robert B. “Bubba” of Braintree, December 4, 2003. Stepson of James Garrison of Abington. Beloved husband of Mary F. (Whalen) of Braintree. Loving father of Robert J. and his wife Kara of MD, Brenda of Halifax, Bonnie J., Mary and Elizabeth, all of Braintree. Brother of Betty Deveuve of Westport, James of NH, Debbie Van Tassle of CO and Carol McKenna of PA. Also survived by 5 grandchildren. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home 785 Hancock St. , WOLLASTON Tuesday at 8:30 AM. Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, Weymouth Landing at 9:30 AM. Visiting hours Monday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree. Robert served in the military from October 7, 1956 to June 8, 1964. He served in the US Army first followed by the Army Reserves and then completed his service as a U.S. Marine. Bob also worked as a security guard for several years at the Boston Garden, St. Colletta’s School and Quincy Oil Co.
