Robert A. “Rob” Lambie

Lambie, Robert A. “Rob” of Rockland, died October 11, 2013. 

Rob was born and grew up in Quincy, graduating from Quincy High School.  He later went on to Boston University where he graduated with a degree in Airplane Mechanics.  Rob was a heavy groundradar technician in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam Era. After that Rob worked as an airline mechanic, his first love, for the Northeast Airlines.  He loved golfing and dancing with his wife.  Rob also enjoyed woodworking and traveling.  He was a very strong family man who showed a lot of interest in his Scottish heritage.  Rob will be missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing him. 

Beloved husband of Bonnie Lambie (Collins) of Rockland. Devoted father of Heather Grant and her husband Joseph of Carver and the late R. Scott Lambie.  Loving son of the late John and Gladys (Phillips) Lambie.  Caring brother of Janet Koster and her husband Richard of Easton.  Proud Gampa of Scott J and Kaylar E.  Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.  

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Tuesday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital)  Funeral service will be celebrated on Wednesday at 11 AM in McDonald Keohane Funeral Home.
