Robert A. Murray

Robert “Muz” Murray, 87, of Hull, formerly of his beloved South Boston and Squantum, passed away on December 23, 2022. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Ann Clark Murray. Beloved father to Susan Murray and her partner Patricia Saint James of Boston, Robert Murray and his wife Amelia of Hingham and Erin Jones of Hanover. Proud grandfather of his five stars, Robert and Jacqueline Murray and Nicholas, Sean and Patrick Jones.
Robert was a graduate of Northeastern University, School  of Engineering and former Vice President of Aberthaw Construction Co.
After his love of family, came his love of the ocean, where he sailed competitively throughout his life, winning many championships, including The Lipton Cup Trophy at Squantum Yacht Club.
He was caring and selfless, his family loved him dearly. He was our CHAMPION!

A memorial mass will be celebrated on January 5, 2023 at 11am in St. Paul’s Church 147 North Street, Hingham.

Burial was private.
