Driscoll, Robert A., Jr. of Quincy March 14, 2007. Beloved husband of the late Roberta E. (Lewis) Driscoll. Devoted father of Robert A. Driscoll III and his wife Mary of Quincy, James S. and his wife Terry Driscoll of Dennis, William L. and his wife Diane Driscoll of Worcester, and Cynthia M. and her husband Michael Bowes of Squantum. Loving brother of the late Paul Driscoll. Also survived by 11 grandchildren. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Funeral Service in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., WOLLASTON, Friday at 11:30 AM. Visitation prior to service from 10:30 – 11:30 AM. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree. Donations may be made in Robert’s memory to the American Heart Assn., 20 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701. Robert graduated from North Quincy High School aftering playing football for 4 years as the starting quarterback. After graduation, Robert joined the U.S. Marine Corp and served during WWII. After his military service, Robert attended Dean Academy. In the 1940’s, Robert was a pitcher for the Cincinnati Reds Farm League. Robert worked as an Electrician at Polaroid in Norwood for over 21 years. Prior to that, he worked for B.F. Goodrich as an electrician for 15 years. Robert was a life time member of the Quincy Tennis Club and a member of Trout Unlimited. He loved fishing, tennis, baseball, cribbage and his grandchildren.
