Robert A. “Bud” Doyle

Doyle, Robert A. “Bud”, a retired Boston Firefighter, of Braintree, formerly of Randolph and Dorchester, passed away October 7, 2010 at home. Beloved husband of Dorothy R. (Egan) Doyle. Loving father of Susan O’Neill and her husband John of Braintree. Devoted “Papa” of Lauren O’Neill. Brother of Lorraine Brady of Scituate and the late Bernard, Donald, Irma Faber, Mary Doyle, and Jane Flynn. Bud worked with the Civilian Conservation Corp (CCC) in the early 1940’s before serving in the Marines during WWII. He was a Boston Firefighter for over 30 years, retiring in 1984 as a Lieutenant. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours Sunday 2-6 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock Street, QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9 AM on Monday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Church, Randolph at 10 AM. Burial in Saint Mary’s Cemetery, Randolph.
