Robert A. Barrows

Barrows, Robert A. of Hingham, died July 21, 2012, he was 75. The beloved husband of Judith (Brown) Barrows of Hingham. Father of Kenneth E. Barrows and his wife Lisa of Delray Beach, FL. and Kathleen Hollander of Royal Palm Beach,FL. Brother in Law of James Basler and his wife Carol of Venice, FL. Uncle of Mary Brown of Hingham, Laurel Brown of Somerville, Steven Brown of VA., Jim Basler of East Bridgewater, Rob Basler of Bridgewater, Valerie Basler of Venice, FL and Cindy Mertens of Washington, DC. Grandfather of Madison & Kyle Barrows. Robert is also survived by many other nieces, nephews and dear friends. Bob worked as a civil engineer for the Maguire Group for many years. A few of his favorite hobbies included fishing and woodworking. He was a talented pilot who enjoyed flying. To many he was the “tool guy” who was always ready to lend a helping hand. Bob will be remembered as a true gentleman with a kind and giving heart. He will be sadly missed by all those who knew him. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Thursday 4-8 PM in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM. Funeral service will be celebrated on Friday at 11 AM in Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, Hingham. Burial in High Street Cemetery, Hingham.
