Rita M. Snowdon

Snowdon, Rita M. (McCarthy) of Hingham October 24, 2006. Wife of the late Garfield N. Snowdon. Loving mother of Geraldine M. Bridges of Poway, CA and Cathleen Merriman of Maynard. Sister of Mary Daley of Quincy. Loving “Grama” of Regina Fischbach, Zalika Merriman and Sasha Heavey. Great “Grama” of James Sullivan. Also survived by many nieces & nephews. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St., HINGHAM, Friday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in Saint Paul’s Church, Hingham at 10 AM. Visitation prior to Mass. Burial in High Street Cemetery, Hingham at a later date. Rita worked as a police maiden for the MDC police for 20 years, retiring in 1978. She served in the U.S. Army during WWII.
