Rita M. Paone

Paone, Rita M. (Harold) of Wollaston, passed away April 10, 2011. Beloved wife of 68 years to Ugo R. “Dick” Paone of Wollaston. Devoted mother of Richard A. Paone of Duxbury, Barbara J. Paone of Randolph and Robert P. Paone of Boston. Loving sister of the late Mary Harold, Lillian Murray, Ruth Essiambre and Eddie Harold. Cherished grandmother of Robert Hutcheon of Quincy, Samantha Hutcheon of Randolph, MSgt. Timothy Paone of Germany and great-grandmother of Cory and Anthony Davis. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Rita graduated from Everett High School and has been a longtime resident of Wollaston. She was a member of the Wollaston Mother’s Club and assisted in the opening the first gift shop at Quincy Hospital. She enjoyed bowling, dancing, traveling, shopping, and arts and crafts. She was a talented artist and gourmet cook. Her family describes her as a social butterfly who loved being with her family, friends, and entertaining. She will be sadly missed. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visitation on Saturday at 8:30 AM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY, prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, Quincy at 10 AM. Burial in Mt. Wollaston Cemetery, Quincy. Donations in memory of Rita may be made to St. Ann’s Church, 757 Hancock Street, Quincy, MA 02170.
