Rita M. (Nash) Fitzgerald

Mrs. Rita M. (Nash) FitzGerald  of Weymouth, formerly of Neponset, died August 26, 2021.

Rita was a devout catholic and a parishioner for many years at Saint Francis Xavier Church in Weymouth. She enjoyed playing bingo and gambling. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother and always wanted to make sure her children were well taken care of. “God’s Listening”. She will be deeply missed by all those that knew and loved her.

Beloved wife of the late Frank W. “Fitzy” FitzGerald.

Loving mother of Dorothy Auriemma of Hingham, Carla Shearer of Hanover, Laura Gilbreath of VA, Sharon Collins of Hanson, Patrice Craig of Weymouth, Sheila Kashar of Plymouth and their spouses.  Also survived by 16 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Rita’s Celebration of Life and Funeral Mass on Tuesday at 10 am in Saint Francis Xavier Church, 234 Pleasant Street, Weymouth.

Burial in Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton.
