Rita M. Ford

Ford, Rita M. (Keegan) of Weymouth, died February 17, 2022.

Loving mother of John Ford and his wife Kathleen of Wrentham and Thomas Ford of Weymouth.  Former wife of the late John Ford.  Sister of Joan Bittrich of Harwich, Anne Wilson of Cambridge, and the late Mary “Fran” Lee and the late John Masters.  Cherished Nana to Brady, Ryan and Kaitlyn.  Wife of the late William Prendergast and his children, Lisa Hendrikson of Pembroke, Nancy Simoes of Plymouth, Michael Prendergast of FL, and David Prendergast of MA & FL. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Thursday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Friday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Francis Xavier Church, Weymouth at 10 AM. Cremation will follow.
