Rita H. Bowes

Bowes, Rita H. (Carey) of Scituate, formerly of Hull, October 11, 2004. Wife of the late William E. Bowes. Loving mother of Linda M. Tilley of Plymouth, Karen McGuire of Marshfield, Robert Bowes of Hull and the late Richard Bowes. Sister of Ruth Bowes of Easton and the late Robert, Joseph & John J. Carey. Also survived by 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandsons. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM Friday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in Saint Ann’s Church, Hull at 10 AM. Visiting hours Thursday 4-8 PM. Burial will be private.Mrs. Bowes was a member of the Women’s Army Corps, Bay State Chapter #14, the American Legion Post, #140 in Hull, a volunteer for the South Shore Community Council in Plymouth, President of the Residents Council at the Lifecare Center in Scituate and she was very active in Hull politics for many years.
