Rita F. Davis

Davis, Rita F. (Sylvester) of Weymouth formerly of Braintree, died January 24, 2022.  

Rita grew up in Braintree and graduated from Braintree High School.  She worked as a Home Health Aid for South Shore Visiting Nursing Association for many years.  Rita enjoyed playing bingo, watching the game show network and doing crossword puzzles. Her main passion in life was her family and spending time with those she loved, especially her granddaughter Jenn.  Rita will be sadly missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing her. 

Loving mother of Nancy Murphy and her husband John of Milton.  Cherished Mimi of Jennifer Murphy of Milton.  Adored daughter of the late Frank and Helen (Meffan) Sylvester.  Caring sister of Barbara Hauber and her late husband Joseph of Duxbury, Alice Pizzano and her husband “Pete” of New Hampshire, Peter Sylvester of Florida, Lynn Gately and herlong time companion Peter Rowe of Weymouth and her twin sister Ruth Sylvester of Weymouth.   Former wife of William Davis. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Saturday, February 12, 2022 from 9:30-11 AM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). Funeral service will be celebrated on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at 11 AM in McDonald Keohane Funeral Home, SOUTH WEYMOUTH.  Interment at Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
