Rita F. Cashman

Rita F. (Jennings) Cashman, of North Weymouth, died December 28, 2020.

Rita was an active parishioner of St. Jerome Church. She enjoyed playing bingo at the Weymouth Elks for many years with her bingo pals until they found a new spot in Quincy. She also enjoyed going to casinos, concerts and the movies with her grandchildren. She loved Irish music and was a frequent caller to the Irish hit parade every weekend. Rita also enjoyed traveling around the world and leaves her family with many wonderful memories. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends and will always be in our thoughts and prayers.

Beloved wife of the late Maurice F. Cashman. Devoted mother of Stephen Cashman of Quincy, Janet McDonald of Braintree, Lee Reddish of Weymouth, Jill Grady and her husband Dana of Duxbury, Paul Cashman of Whitman and the late Michael Cashman. Cherished Nana of Jerry, Kate, Jeff, Patrick, Jennifer, Lauren, Patrick, Peter, Brian, Danny, Jessica and 14 great-grandchildren. Loving sister-in-law of Patricia Cashman of CA.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visitation on Tuesday 9-10 AM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home NORTH WEYMOUTH at 40 Sea Street (off Route 3A – Bicknell Square).

A Funeral Mass will follow in St. Jerome Church, Weymouth at 10:30 AM.

Burial in MA National Cemetery, Bourne.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Rita may be made to Norwell VNA and Hospice, 120 Longwater Drive, Norwell, MA 02061.
