Rita E. Rosenhammer

Rosenhammer, Rita E. of Quincy, passed away August 7, 2011. Beloved daughter of the late Andrew and Mary (Terpening) Rosenhammer. Loving sister of the late Agnes Rosenhammer with whom she shared her home. Step- daughter of the late Ruth (Dickson) Rosenhammer. Niece of Frances Hillis of Pennsylvania. Also survived by many cousins and close friends. Rita was born in Brooklyn, New York, and had moved to Quincy in the 1940’s to attend Eastern Nazarene College. She took much pride in her work as a Librarian at the Thomas Crane Public Library where she had worked from 1948 until her retirement in 1983. The center of her life was her faith and took much pleasure spending time at the Wollaston Church of the Nazarene. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Thursday from 9:30 – 11 a.m. in the Wollaston Church of the Nazarene, followed by her Funeral Service at 11 a.m. Burial will be held at a later date in Greenfield Cemetery, Uniondale, New York.
